Prenatal TT
“Shakti Inspired” 85 Hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training Program
with April Puciata, MFA, E-RYT 500 and RPYT
and Britannie DeChino, MS, RYT-500, Anatomy and Nutrition
This program is registered with Yoga Alliance and is designed for Yoga teachers and/or Professionals who work with pregnant women (childbirth educators, chiropractors, doctors, doulas, craniosacral/massage/shiatsu therapists, midwives, nurses, therapists).
Focused on inspiring feminine energy and teaching students and teachers to honor what is best for the individual – both in the yoga practice and in their own personal birth decisions – this training will include:
Sequences you can use teaching a prenatal class | Asana-modifications, benefits, and contraindications | How to teach a pregnant student in non prenatal class | Pranayama, meditation, and relaxation techniques for pregnancy | the business of prenatal yoga | kegels/core work in prenatal and post-natal | anatomy | nutrition | the subtle body | chanting and vocal use | Mudras | baby massage and essential oils | restorative yoga poses for pregnancy | vinyasa and flow | information on birth choices | postnatal information and sequence | Yoga philosophy in prental class | what is and forms of Shakti … and lots of opportunity to practice teach !

All four parts of the training are needed in order to receive certification as a Yoga Prenatal Teacher . However, you can sign up for individual sections and they are eligible for CEU’s with Yoga Alliance.

Saturdays 10:00am – 7pm
Sundays 10am – 7pm
